Remembering Mom Tea: Sunday May 7, 2023 (Sunday before Mother’s Day) 2-4pm
For some, Mother’s Day is as lovely and enchanting as the commercials portray. For others, the day is fraught with loss, grief, and bitterness; or a messy mixture of joy, gratitude, and regret. For some it will be their first Mother’s Day without her, for others, their twenty-first. If this applies to you or someone you know – consider joining us at Stuart Avenue Inn as we take time out for us on this difficult day. Sharing is optional; tears are acceptable; silence is respected. Sometimes it is enough just to be in the company of others. Of course, tasty scones, tea sandwiches and desserts will be served with assorted warm and nurturing teas. Treat yourself this Mother’s Day.
$30/person. Pre-registration required. Call the Inn to reserve your seat. 269 330 5350

Holidays
TOP THREE REASONS to host your Holiday Get-Together at the Stuart Avenue Inn.
1. Our first floor is suitable for dining, conversation, gift exchange, holiday games, and seasonal treats enjoyed against a backdrop of quite music and festive holiday touches. Avoid the din of a noisy restaurant. You’ll have room to stretch and relax without bumping into other guests. Best of all – it works well for extended and multi-generational celebrations.
2. Plan the menu with the Innkeepers or have it catered from your favorite local restaurant. Go fancy, casual, eclectic, traditional. Complete buffets, or plates of cookies. You choose.
3. No cleaning, prepping, decorating, or overseeing this event. You actually get to enjoy your party while giving guests your undivided attention. Best of all – at the end of the evening – you get to go home while we clean up.
